Sales Engineer

Proserv Offshore Americas, Houston based.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interfacing with established customers and developing new contact base for the use of our equipment and services.
  2. Main focus of efforts, but not limited to the Houston, Texas area.
  3. Respond effectively to customers requests for sale inquires,
  4. Technical and commercial information.
  5. Providing presentations with the support of technical staff from our Houma base.
  6. Gathering all specific and technical information regarding tenders and passing these on to engineering staff in Houma base for formal presentations or job tender.
  7. When needed, keeping the information flowing between our customers and relivant offices.
  8. Assist with all marketing activities such as exhibitions, advertising, etc.
  9. General facilitator, when needed, with entire sales effort from first sales call, tender proposal, project completion and follow up call to discuss entire process, post project.

ADDITIONAL RELEVANT INFORMATION ABOUT JOB

Willing to travel occasionally, locally and internationally and attend trade shows, driving licence required

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential: Basic High School diploma
Preferred: College or university degree to evidence completion of course work in related field.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE

Essential: Should have sales/marketing experience in the oil and gas offshore field in the US.

Strong contact base in offshore field in and around Houston, TX area.

Preffered: Five years sales/marketing experience in the subsea industry.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Word and Excel and PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Supervisory or Management skills
